Our Desert Boots are made-to-order and available online only, so it's vital to find the correct size. They come in a standard G width fitting, so it's just the length that you need to decide on and we would highly recommend measuring your feet using the instructions below.

For men, sizing is true to UK standards and the same as a classic desert boot, so if you already own a pair from a famous UK brand, go by that size. For women, our unisex sizing may differ slightly so please follow the guide below and choose based on the suggested foot length.

A Fresh Approach to Leather Billy Tannery

To measure your feet, place a sheet of paper on the ground against a flat wall, stand on it with your heel against the same wall, and draw with a pencil around your longest toe (not always your big toe). Make sure that the pencil is completely vertical and wear the same thickness of socks that you intend to wear with your boots. For best results ask someone trustworthy to do this while you stand still! If your feet are slightly different lengths then we'd recommend choosing the longest measurement.

Foot Length Measuring Guide

Once you have this length in centimetres, find the closest 'suggested foot length' in the chart below and take that size. Our strong recommendation allows for 1.5cm room in your boots but if you are certain that you like your shoes to be tight, then add 1.2cm to your actual foot length and go by that 'shoe inside length'.
