The Billy Journal is an A5 leather bound notebook. Handmade in Britain, with refillable pages made from recycled leather fibres.
UK shipping is free over £150 and always tracked. In stock orders placed on weekdays before 1pm will usually be dispatched the same day. International orders over £250 also include free shipping.
UK returns are free of charge via Collect+, so if you change your mind or are not happy with your order, you may return it within 30 days. International returns will incur a cost. Please note that our returns policy does not include made-to-order or customised products, which cannot be returned unless faulty.

This is a special collaboration with Knepp Wilding.
Each journal is unique and reflects the lives of the deer that roamed the Sussex wildland. Your Journal may show scars from the rutting season, or marks where the deer have moved through blackthorn. We choose to celebrate this natural variation in the leather, the beauty in the character it brings and the stories it can tell.
As soon as we discovered Remake, an amazing paper made from previously wasted leather residues, we knew that we would have to find a use for it. Created by Italian paper specialist Favini, this award-winning paper replaces 25% of the wood pulp with leftover leather fibres and is totally biodegradable. The result is a beautifully textured paper with visible fibres that is a joy to write on. The paper refills are then cut, sewn and bound for us by a specialist binders in Gloucestershire to fit perfectly into our refillable leather journal.
Our leather bound journal will also work as a cover for standard A5 notebooks, sketchbooks and diaries.
